Before Your Appointment

To ensure the strongest bond and longest-lasting results, please arrive with freshly brushed and flossed teeth.

 

For the best experience:

Avoid eating or drinking anything acidic immediately before your appointment.

Please refrain from eating for at least 1 hour before your visit.

You may drink water up until your appointment. A

clean tooth surface allows the adhesive to bond more effectively and helps maximize the longevity of your tooth gem.

 

How Long Do Tooth Gems Last?

With proper care, tooth gems typically last 6 months to several years.

Longevity varies based on factors such as:

Oral hygiene habits

Tooth placement

Bite alignment

Eating habits

Individual enamel condition

Because every smile is unique, results and wear time may vary from person to person.

 

Aftercare Instructions

Following these aftercare guidelines will help ensure the strongest bond and longest-lasting results.

 

Immediately After Your Appointment:

Do not touch, pick, or play with your tooth gem using your fingers or tongue.

Avoid drinking for 30 minutes after application.

Do not eat, chew gum, vape, or smoke for 1 hour.

Avoid acidic or carbonated beverages for 12 hours.

Do not brush your teeth for 12 hours.

Avoid using an electric toothbrush for the first 48 hours.

 

During the First 24 Hours:

The dental adhesive continues to fully cure during the first 24 hours. During this time:

Eat softer foods whenever possible.

Avoid biting directly into hard or crunchy foods with the gem.

Be mindful of excessive pressure on the treated tooth.

 

Ongoing Care

After the first 24 hours, resume your normal oral hygiene routine, including:

Brushing twice daily

Flossing daily

Using mouthwash as desired

Maintaining excellent oral hygiene helps prevent plaque buildup around the gem and keeps your smile looking its best.
